Children dancing - Summer music camp : terms and conditionsHere are the terms and conditions for the summer music camp.

Bookings will only be processed once full payment has been received. Payment from outside the UK must be made free of all charges.

Cancellations received before 30th June 2016 will be refunded in full, minus a £30 administration fee.

You may like to take out personal holiday insurance if you need to cancel your booking after 30th June 2016 as no refunds will be available.

In case of illness, a refund, minus £30 administration fee, will only be considered on production of a signed, valid and dated Doctor note with full explanation of illness, and the illness not being a pre-existing condition.

French and Music Ensemble reserves the right to cancel the music camp in event of circumstances such as
– not enough participants, in which case French and Music Ensemble will inform you at least 21 days before the beginning of the camp.
– cancellation by the venue.
– all other unforessen circumstances.
In which case all fees paid to French and Music Ensemble at the time of the cancellation will be refunded. No other compensation will be provided (such as transport and accommodation costs).

The summer camp places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis and we reserve the right not to accept an individual on to the camp. Early application is advised.

The camp is suitable for any instrument grades and any French level. Children who have never played an instrument before are also welcome. Children must bring their own instruments and music stand. Pianos are provided.

We ask that you provide a packed lunch for your children as well as snacks and drinks as there are no cooking facilities on site.

It is very important to us that a friendly and informal atmosphere is maintained throughout the course. To ensure the enjoyment, safety and well-being of everyone involved, French and Music Ensemble reserves the right to exclude any children whose behaviour is unacceptable or disruptive or who are unable to co-operate with instruction given by the staff. No refund will be available.


Whilst we are insured (public liability insurance), French and Music Ensemble cannot take responsibility for any loss, damage or theft of personal belongings such as musical instruments, clothing and other personal property. Please make sure that all instruments and items of value are properly insured.

Costs due to deliberate or reckless damage to the building where the camp is held and its property or to French and Music Ensemble property will be the responsibility of the camp members and their parents.

Children are under parents responsability as soon as the parents pick them up at the end of each day.

During the camp, as well as music playing, singing and French, we will organise activities such as acting, dance, relaxation, etc. Although all activities will present minimal risk for your child, you may like to take out personal accident insurance. Every effort will be made to ensure the safety of all children. Participation in any activity during the camp will be entirely at your child’s own risk and attendance on the camp involves acceptance of this risk.


French and Music Ensemble may take photographs and make video and audio recordings during the camp for publicity purposes (such as brochures and publications) and for use for onsite images (such as our website and facebook page). Please let us know at the time of the booking, if you are unhappy with your child being included in this. In this case, no photographs or recordings showing your child will not be published or used online.
